      As the Warehouse Team Leader for the midshift operations, you will support the Shift Manager in overseeing the warehouse teams, ensuring standards and deadlines are consistently met. You will play a crucial role in optimising warehouse functions, including picking, loading, and administration.

      This role will be a hands on leadership position with a focus on developing your team and leading by example.

      The Role:

      • Support the Shift Manager in overseeing picker performance, loading activities, invoicing, and MHE utilisation.
      • Ensure product availability, quality, and safety standards, addressing complaints to improve customer service.
      • Assist in team management, including payroll upkeep and absence management.
      • Allocate and manage resources effectively across warehouse operations.
      • Promote a strong Health & Safety culture
      • Identify and develop team talent, driving exceptional performance.
      • Maintain excellent recordkeeping and adherence to internal procedures.
      • Drive Lean activities within the operations team.
      • Support recruitment, selection, and evaluation processes.
      • Monday to Thursday 2.30pm to 11.15pm, Friday 2.30pm to 9pm

      The Person:

      • Will have operational warehousing experience.
      • Wil have experience in warehouse management systems.
      • Proven ability to adapt and problem-solve in a dynamic environment.
      • Experience in developing and leading team members.
      • Strong motivator with excellent communication skills.
      • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
      • Experience with powered MHE, LLOPS, FLT’s is advantageous
