          Are you passionate about driver development, safety and transport compliance?

          Perhaps you’re an experienced Driver Trainer, Driver Assessor or Transport Professional looking for a role where you can genuinely influence standards, improve performance and make a lasting impact across a large-scale transport operation?

          A leading logistics and distribution business is seeking a Regional Driver Trainer to support operations across multiple sites within Northern Ireland and the North West. This is a standalone regional position offering significant autonomy, responsibility and the opportunity to shape future driver training standards across a growing operation.

          This role will focus on driver development, safety, compliance, onboarding and continuous improvement, whilst working closely with operational leadership teams to support driver attraction, retention and performance.

          The Role

          • Conducting driving assessments for both new and existing drivers
          • Supporting driver onboarding programmes, inductions and probation reviews
          • Delivering refresher training, coaching and development initiatives
          • Carrying out driver observations and performance assessments
          • Identifying training needs and implementing improvement plans
          • Assisting with accident investigations and root cause analysis
          • Delivering post-incident coaching and retraining programmes
          • Creating and delivering Toolbox Talks and safety briefings
          • Assisting with recruitment activities, interview assessments and candidate evaluations

          The Person

          • Previous experience within Driver Training, Driver Assessment or Transport Training
          • Strong understanding of transport legislation, compliance and driver safety
          • Excellent communication and coaching skills
          • Ability to positively influence behavioural change
          • Strong organisational and planning abilities
          • Comfortable delivering both classroom-based and practical training
          • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
          • Proactive approach to continuous improvement and operational excellence

          Desirable Qualifications

          • Driver Assessor Qualification
          • Train the Trainer Certification
          • Manual Handling Instructor Qualification
          • CPC-related qualifications
          • Transport Compliance Training
          • Health & Safety related training certifications
